They also build confidence, and presenting is a skill that most people will need in the world of work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Presentation skills are extremely useful, both in and outside the classroom. After completing a project, in this case about hobbies, the PowerPoint presentations are a channel for students to share with others what they have learned. It is also a chance to challenge themselves. These presentations were designed to focus on a particular language structure \u201cI like verb + ing form\u201d, and it has been a very practical way to revise and extend book work. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Students were a bit nervous but they did enjoy it a lot! For our new unit they are already hands on with a new one.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestras aficiones<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Las presentaciones son una forma muy interesante para que los alumnos practiquen todas las \u00e1reas del lenguaje (vocabulario y gram\u00e1tica) y las habilidades (el habla, la lectura, la escritura y la escucha). <\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Con ellas se aumenta la autoestima, y hablar en p\u00fablico es una habilidad que la mayor\u00eda de las personas necesitaran en el mundo del trabajo.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Las habilidades en las presentaciones son extremadamente \u00fatiles, tanto dentro, como fuera del aula. Despu\u00e9s de completar un proyecto, en nuestro caso, sobre nuestras aficiones, las presentaciones de PowerPoint, son un canal muy pr\u00e1ctico para que los alumnos compartan con otros compa\u00f1eros lo que han aprendido. Tambi\u00e9n, es una oportunidad para superarse a ellos mismos. Estas presentaciones est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para centrarse en una estructura gramatical espec\u00edfica \u201cMe gusta+ verbo en infinitivo\u201d, y ha sido una forma muy pr\u00e1ctica de repasar y ampliar el trabajo del libro. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Los alumnos estaban un poco nerviosos \u00a1pero disfrutaron mucho\u00a1. Para nuestra nueva unidad, ellos ya se han puesto manos a la obra con una nueva presentaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
