Just a few days ago we returned from the airport of El Altet to accompany our friends from Sweden on their
trip back home and the feelings we share are very varied.By Linguistic Team
Sad on the one hand, very satisfied on the other but above all happy, very happy to witness the ability of our
children and students to empathize, to interlace new friendships and to integrate with boys and girls with
traditions and culture very different from ours.
Ultimately it is about that, to approach points of view, to respect and tolerate other ways of understanding things,
to be personally enriched by what others can give us and to offer others the best of ourselves.
The linguistic objective of the program is very important to develop the communicative competence of our
students in a foreign language such as English, but the human dimension overcomes all of the above.
For the third time in a row, our school hosted a group of 17 students and two professors from Varlaskolan
on May 21st. Our guys were there in September 2018 and now it was our turn to do the honors for us.
It has been a short but intense week, full of activities in which the great majority of the students of our center
have participated.
On this occasion, our Swedish partners were able to participate in all the celebrations of the month of May
(Olympics, Mª Auxiliadora, etc ...).
For them it has been a visit full of news and curiosities, learning our customs and traditions. Surely they will
take a pleasant memory of your stay in Villena.
Going back to the beginning of this news that is the end of this experience, I can express and convey the words
of satisfaction and gratitude of parents, mothers, students, students and teachers of our center.
We hope to continue enjoying this project for a long time and we do not say goodbye to our Swedish friends but
UNTIL SOON in capital letters.
Now it's time to warm up to take off again in October 2019. The 2019-2020 promotion is now a reality.
Semana de Intercambio Lingüístico-Cultural del 21 al 28 de Mayo con el Instituto sueco de VARLASKOLAN
Hace apenas unos días que regresamos del aeropuerto de El Altet para acompañar a nuestros amigos de Suecia en su viaje de regreso a casa y los sentimientos que compartimos son muy variados.
Tristes por una parte, muy satisfechos por otra pero sobre todo contentos, muy contentos de ser testigos de la capacidad que tienen nuestros hijos y alumnos de empatizar, entrelazar nuevas amistades e integrarse con chicos y chicas con tradiciones y cultura muy distintas a la nuestra.
En definitiva se trata de eso, de acercar puntos de vista, de respetar y tolerar otras maneras de entender las cosas, de enriquecerse personalmente de lo que los demás nos pueden aportar y de ofrecer a los demás lo mejor de nosotros mismos.
El objetivo lingüístico del programa es muy importante para desarrollar la competencia comunicativa de nuestros alumnos en una lengua extranjera como el inglés, pero la dimensión humana supera todo lo anterior.
Por tercera vez consecutiva, nuestro colegio acogía el pasado 21 de mayo a un grupo de 17 estudiantes y dos profesores de Varlaskolan. Nuestros chicos estuvieron allí en septiembre de 2018 y ahora nos tocaba hacer los honores a nosotros. Ha sido una semana breve pero muy intensa, llena de actividades en las que han participado la gran mayoría de los alumnos de nuestro centro.
En esta ocasión, nuestros compañeros suecos pudieron participar en todas las celebraciones del mes de mayo (Olimpiadas, Mª Auxiliadora, etc….)
Para ellos ha supuesto una visita llena de novedades y curiosidades, aprendiendo nuestras costumbres y tradiciones. Seguro que se llevarán un grato recuerdo de su estancia en Villena.
Volviendo al principio de esta noticia que es el final de esta experiencia, puedo expresar y transmitir las palabras de satisfacción y agradecimiento de padres, madres, alumnos, alumnas y profesores de nuestro centro.
Esperamos seguir disfrutando de este proyecto durante mucho tiempo y no les decimos adiós a nuestros amigos suecos sino un HASTA PRONTO con mayúsculas.
Ahora toca calentar motores para despegar de nuevo en octubre de 2019. La promoción 2019-2020 ya es una realidad.
